As part of its global expansion, Ford Trucks has entered Switzerland, offering efficient and technologically advanced vehicles like the F-MAX and the new F-LINE series, which feature cutting-edge connectivity.
Ford Trucks, a global leader in the heavy commercial sector, continues its European expansion by entering Switzerland, a key market for its Western Europe growth plan. With this move, Ford Trucks has completed its positioning in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland).
Ford Trucks, which is in high demand in Europe with its wide product portfolio and innovative technologies, will partner with BF Import AG, as a subsidiary of Auto AG Group having over 100 years of expertise in the Swiss market. Following launch, operations will start in 5 strategic locations in 2024 and will further strengthen its dealer network in more than 8 locations by the end of 2025.
Ford Trucks will provide the efficient, technological solutions required by the importer’s extensive commercial vehicle customer database, particularly the F-MAX tractor, as well as the new F-LINE series, which stands out with its connectivity technology and advanced safety features.
The collaboration is also significant for Ford Trucks' investments in zero-emission transportation. Switzerland, which has a strong potential for electric vehicles, will be one of the pioneer countries where the first electric truck designed by Ford Trucks will be introduced to the market, which will be mass-produced by 2025.
