Paris, December 2024 TotalEnergies Lubrifiants, a global leader in the lubricants industry, and Ford Trucks, a major player in the heavy-commercial truck industry, have signed an international agreement to strengthen their strategic partnership in Europe. This five-year partnership will enable both companies to offer European Ford Trucks fleet managers high-quality products and services tailored to the specific needs of vehicles and local markets.
Introducing a High-Performance Engine Oil for Ford Trucks GEN 1.5
After collaborative product development processes and tests conducted between TotalEnergies and Ford Trucks Product Development, a specially formulated engine oil for Ford Trucks has been made available for use in the maintenance of Ford Trucks Ecotorq engines.
TotalEnergies Lubrifiants has thus developed the Rubia Optima 4300 XFE 5W-20 a high-performance engine oil, specifically designed for the Ford Trucks Ecotorq engines compliant with EURO 6 standards post-January 2023. This advanced lubricant ensures optimal engine protection, improved energy efficiency, and extended engine lifetime, perfectly aligning with the needs of modern heavy-duty vehicles.
Additionally, the Rubia OPTIMA 3500 FE 5W30, which is part of the OPTIMA range, is still in use for Ford Trucks Ecotorq engines and continues to be a viable alternative.
By addressing these specific requirements, TotalEnergies Lubrifiants and Ford Trucks provide fleet operators with a reliable and innovative solution that enhances vehicle performance.
An initial phase in Europe with plans for international expansion
The first phase of this partnership covers 26 countries across Europe, aiming to provide innovative solutions in the region. This strategic partnership also plans to expand into APME (Asia-Pacific, Middle East) and Africa, meeting the growing needs for maintenance and performance solutions in these markets.
