Ford Trucks to Partner in WEC Excitement!
Ford Trucks will be proudly transporting race vehicles for the 2019 FIA World Endurance Championship, while drivers will be proudly carrying the Ford Trucks logo on their racing suits.
During this year’s unprecedented 14-month “super season”, Ford Trucks isn’t just responsible for transporting vehicles for the championship, it’s also the uniform sponsor for the event, making it a partner on multiple levels.
The races to take place in 9 locations across the world, including the 6-hour race on the SPA-Francorchamps track in Belgium, and the gruelling 24 Hours of Le Mans in France, will push drivers and their cars to the limit. This season’s race calendar features some of the world’s most prestigious and historic tracks, and this year will include the Sebring International Raceway in Florida USA for the first time since 2012.
The WEC takes over from the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup, which began in 2010, and is the only competition to be considered a world championship in endurance racing since 1992. In endurance races, drivers compete day and night to try and cover the most distance on the track.
